Since 2006, Matt Assenmacher has been a Managing Partner of FFC Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Top Tile & Stoneworks — a commercial tile, stone, and countertop contracting firm specializing in luxury hotel construction. Over 20 years of ownership and operation, Top Tile completed tile and stone installations for more than 100 hotel projects in the U.S. and Caribbean, with a client roster that includes Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, 1 Hotels, Edition Hotels, Four Seasons, Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, Sheraton, and Walt Disney World.

In 2011, Matt co-founded ViaMaris Imports, a strategic sourcing firm specializing in tile and stone. ViaMaris developed a global network of quarry and manufacturing partners across Europe and Asia, allowing hotel owners and developers to access premium materials at meaningful cost savings by bypassing domestic distribution markups. Matt's sourcing work includes direct quarry visits and QC management of production runs for large-scale hotel projects.

Over the past several years, Matt applied his installation and standards knowledge to expert witness testimony, forensic investigation, and specification development for major hotel projects — work that ultimately led to the co-founding of Tactile Consulting Group with Robert Muramatsu in 2022. Prior to entering the tile and stone industry, Matt spent nearly a decade in global marketing and project management with multinational firms.

Matt has published articles on hotel renovation strategy and value engineering in Resort Trades, Lodging, Leisure & Hospitality International, and Commercial Construction & Renovation.

Since 2006, Robert Muramatsu has been a Managing Partner of FFC Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Top Tile & Stoneworks. Over 20 years of ownership and operation, Top Tile completed tile and stone installations for more than 100 hotel projects in the U.S. and Caribbean. Robert built the firm's reputation as a luxury tile and stone installer through a disciplined adherence to TCNA and ANSI installation standards, with key clients including Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Edition Hotels, Four Seasons, Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, and Walt Disney World.

In 2011, Robert co-founded Via Maris Imports with Matt Assenmacher, a strategic global sourcing firm focused on tile, stone, and cut-to-size countertops and vanities. Via Maris built a strong international supplier network with an emphasis on value engineering — delivering the highest quality materials at reduced project cost. The sourcing work includes direct quarry visits and active negotiation with overseas fabrication facilities.

Robert recently oversaw the tile and stone scope of the 90,000 SF Versailles residence (Siegel Residence) in Windermere, Florida — one of the largest private residential construction projects in the United States. His role included management of stone marble flooring and column installation, stone exterior tile, countertop fabrication, and direct sourcing coordination.

Prior to entering the tile and stone industry, Robert held Director and Vice President level positions overseeing sales teams for multinational companies. He co-founded Tactile Consulting Group with Matt Assenmacher in 2022.
